229 Squadron (Be Bold). Pilot Officer Foley was air testing Hurricane aircraft BE 666 and was killed when he crashed at the Kalafrana-Hal Far Road. He had been missing after a flying battle on January 28, 1942 in a Hurricane aircraft and returned uninjured to 229 Squadron on February 11, 1942.
