7 Squadron (Per Diem Per Noctum), Pathfinder Force. Flight Lieutenant Farrow was on his second tour of operations and was killed when his Lancaster aircraft JB 184 was lost during a night trip to Hanover, Germany. P/Os J.H. Gillmore (RAF), W.F. Stenhouse (RAF), Sergeants J.L. Newman (RAF), and R. Norris (RAF) were also killed. Two others of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
