It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 144 Squadron (Who Shall Stop Us). Hampden aircraft was shot down in the sea 90 miles off Skegness after being damaged in an attack against the German warships, Tirpitz and Von Scheer in the harbour at Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
