It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 196 Squadron (Sic Fidem Servamus). Aircraft was completing a supply mission to the French Resistance. While overflying Ain in a snow storm, aircraft went out of control and crashed in Bois de Valorse, near Hauteville-Lompnes, France.
