Took off from North Creake at 21:31 in Stirling Mk III (Sqn code EX-P Bomber Command) tasked to provide a Mandrel Screen for the Kiel Main Force.
Sustained very serious flak damage to its rudders but Flight Sergeant Johnson managed to regain the Yorkshire coast and ordered his crew to abandon near Driffield Yorkshire. No record of names as all survived.
