It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 630 Squadron (Nocturna Mors). Lancaster aircraft LM 269 was hit by flak during operations over Bordeaux, France. Five of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Pilot Officer Bullock bailed out but his parachute did not open.
