Mosquito aircraft NT 231 was one of 18 aircraft from the squadron on a night intruder mission over the Ardennes, Francedetailed to bomb enemy concentrations in the battle area and attack motor transport, tanks, villages and woods. The aircraft was lost during operations. Killed were the pilot RCAF Pilot Officer I.C. Bradley and the navigator RAF Flt. Sgt. E.O. Bule.
