Flight Lieutenant JE Baskerville (RAF) Can), Flying Officer EO Fennell (RAF)(Can), LAC(AG) L Close (RAF) and LAC(AG) WG Newton (RAF) killed and Sergeant BD Shepperson (RAF) missing. This was the first Bomber Command aircraft lost attacking a land target in Germany.
