It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 356 Squadron (We Bring Freedom And Assistance). FSs Anderson, R.R. Halford, B.J. Johnston, Sergeant W.L. Thornton-White, F/Os J.L. Reid, J. MacLeod, J.W. Piercy, F/Ls L.W. Koehl, and P.A. McMaster were all killed when Liberator aircraft KG 831 was shot down 400 yards off shore at Moulmein, Burma.
