European Public Cemetery, Takoradi, Ghana Wellington Mk III LN-384 HL-R Aircraft took off on a fuel dropping and practice bombing exercise. It was seen to climb normally about 1000 feet. It then went into a left hand turn which became steeper and steeper. It lost height rapidly in the turn and struck the sea, bursting into flames on impact.
