"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. 1918-08-09: McDonald was missing in DH-9, D-1054; last seen gliding West with steam issuing from radiator during bombing raid. His pilot, Lt F Carpenter (no forename), (British), also missing. McDonald was made a POW, and was repatriated 1918-12-13.McDonald was the only non-com, Can. observer in the RAF and shot down 7 German aircraft during his career.
