1917-10-12: to be 2nd-Lieutenant, RFC. 1918-02-07: attached to 4Sqn, RFC. 1918-02-24: Keeler was injured in RE-8, B-5071; when it crashed on the aerodrome during a practice contact patrol. His pilot, 2Lt Ritchie David White, Canadian was also injured. Both survived the crash and returned to service.
