"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. Pilot - W/O Bob Boorman RCAF Navigator F/S Bill Bryant RAF Flying through the Eiffel Tower."

1918-07-25: posted to 49Sqn1918-07-27: Franks was OK in DH-9, D-7222; when he crashed on the aerodrome due to error of judgement, shortly after take off for gun practice. His air-gunner, Sergeant Robert Alexander Campbell, (Canadian) was also OK.1918-08-23: Franks was OK in DH-9, C-6315; making a forced landing at Osterville after being badly shot about during the bombing of Somain.. His air-gunner, 2Lt Samuel Perry Scott, (British) was also OK.
