1916-09-17: Duggan was wounded in the leg on a bombing patrol. He landed at 18 Sqn at Lavieville, and after treatment was flown back to his Sqn. by 2Lt Godfrey George Boyton (British). He was married 2 days after being wounded. The wound didn't heal and he ended in being invalided out of the service & back to Canada 1917-12-00. Ongoing issues with it contributed to his early death in 1932.
