1918-04-04: inj [B8293 SE5a] Swung on t/o stalled to clear telegraph wires spun into ground and burst into flames. He was seriously injured and burned, and had not recovered sufficiently to take part in it. Post war he returned to Canada and became first an engineer and later a lawyer, although he died young at 41.
