"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. Matheson, joined the Royal Flying Corps as an Air Mechanic on 1916-03-14. He was promoted from Sergeant to temporary 2nd Lieutenant on 1916-11-12. With 25 Squadron he flew the F.E.2b and scored five victores before being wounded by machine gun fire on 1917-03-16. His left foot was amputated as a result of his wounds and he returned to Canada for treatment.
