"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. Hartney joined the 28th (Northwest) Battalion CEF, as a Lieutenant. He transferred to the RFC and served in 20Sqn., flying the FE2d. He became an air ace in it. He became an American citizen in 1917-10-00, and transferred to the US Air Service as CO of the 27th Aero Squadron. He was later promoted to OC 1st Pursuit Group.
