It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. George Buchanan Foster, of the Royal Flying Corps, received Royal Aero Club Aviator's Certificate 5558 on 1917-09-17. With 24 Squadron, he scored seven victories during 1918, making him an ace, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
