1918-08-08: Farrell was OK in SE5a, D-6937; when he was shot down by enemy aircraft at Warfusee, Liege, Belgium during ground targets duty. In all he scored 7 combat victories in his WWI career. He continued flying after the war and was renowned for his exploits as a bush pilot in the 1930s.
