75 New Zealand Squadron (Ake Ake Kia Kaha). The crew of Stirling aircraft BF 451 took off and were never heard from again. Sergeants R.L. Pierson (RAF) and R.F. Wanstell (RAF) were also killed. Four others of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Addendum: The crew of Stirling aircraft BF 451 (AA-Z) took off on ops to Mannheim, Germany and were never heard from again. P/O. K.H. Graves (RNZAF), Sgt.s R.C. Stone (RNZAF), T.G. Shergold (RAF), L.E. Everden (RAF), L.C. Cameron (RAF), R.L. Pierson (RAF) and R.F. Wanstell (RAF) were also killed. There were two pilots on board.
