88 Hong Kong Squadron (En Garde). Boston III aircraft BZ 382 missing during an operation to harass retreating enemy troops and transport in the Orne River area of France. Flight Lieutenant S.G. Turner (RAF), D.F.C. was also killed. Two others of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Addendum: - add to the crew list K.E. Kimber (RAF), and FS. E. Rudge (RAF). Kimber and Rudge are buried in the same cemetery as Vickers. Detail provided by Joel Huard, Serquigny, France.
