It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. No. 39 Wing, Royal Canadian Air Force (with the RAF in Europe): established on 12 September 1942 as an Army Co-operation Wing at Leatherhead, Surrey, of Nos 400, 414 and 430 Squadrons RCAF (Delve gives its formation at Redhill on 1 August 1943); moved to the Continent on 2 July 1944 (Sommervieu, France) and finished the war at B.156 Luneburg, Germany, where it was disbanded on 7 August 1945 (Wikipedia, No. 39 Wing RCAF).
