15 Squadron (Aim Sure). Stirling aircraft missing, presumed enemy action. Sergeants N.E. Stone (RNZAF), A.J. Tanner (RNZAF), RE. Lovell (RAF), and T. Wood (RAF) were also killed. Two others of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Addendum: Stirling aircraft missing during a mine-laying operation. Sgt. A. Edgar (RAF) was also killed and one RAF member of the crew was taken Prisoner Of War.
