It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 57 Squadron (Corpus Non Animum IViuto). Wellington aircraft lost while engaged in operations over enemy territory. Sergeants K.J. Barton, G.L. Bentley (RAF), A.C. Frost (RAF), T. Jones (RAF), and R. Straughan (RAF) were also killed. Addendum: Sgt. KJ. Barton was not a member of this crew. Wellington aircraft R 1608 lost while engaged in Ops. to Kiel, Germany. Sgt.s H. Ward (RAF), G.L. Bentley (RAF), A.C. Frost (RAF), T. Jones (RAF), and R. Straughan (RAF) were also killed.
