1918-09-24: Robinson and his observer-gunner Lt. J.H. Roberts (British) went missing in Armstrong-Whitworth FK8 E-8837 while on patrol. Robinson was killed in the crash of the FK8. Gunner/observer Roberts survived and was made a PoW.
