214 Federated Malay States Squadron (Ultor In Umbris). Target - the Rhine area of Germany. Fortress aircraft HB 788 did not return from a daylight special operation. Nine of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.

Claim by Ernst-Wilhelm Modrow 1/NJG1 - Rheine-Nordhorn (GP): 2,500m at 19:24. (Nachtjagd Combat Archives 1944 Part 5 - Theo Boiten) The aircraft crashed at Altenberge, Germany, and all the crew were killed.
