113 Squadron (Velox Et Vindex). Blenheim IV aircraft Z 9598 hit a tree during an army co-operation flight and two of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed. Warrant Officer Peters had been injured on November 15, 1941 during an enemy attack on the aerodrome at Giarabub in the Western Desert.
