Died of complications of Cancer at The Dear Lodge Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. From the Service file she was a telephone operator at No 18 SFTS, Gimli when she was placed on the Dangerously ill list. No 18 SFTS was then moved to Souris and she was posted to 1 P.C.S. in Gimli the No 8 Repair Depot and No 8 Release Center as she was in Hospital over her final days.
