"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. Arras Flying Services Memorial, Arras, Pas De Calais, France

1916-10-28, McKay and Arthur Knight were on patrol over the Somme when they were attacked by Oswald Boelcke. In the ensuing battle, Boelcke was killed when his Albatros collided with that of Erwin BÃ¶hme. Knight was killed the following year when his SPAD was shot down by a German two-seater. McKay shot down 10 enemy aircraft between July, 1916 and his death in 1917.
