It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 214 Federated Malay Slates Squadron (Ultor In Umbris). Wellington aircraft Z 8951 did not return to base. Sergeant s V.E. Egan (RAF), P. Heppenstall (RAF), G.M.C. Turner (RAF), J. Ward (RAF), and P/O, H.A. Shortt (RAF) were also killed. Pilot Officer Riot Leech is buried in the Woensel General Cemetery, Eindhoven. North Brabant, Holland.
