Ord, Sergeants A. Johnston, W. Newman, and L.G. Rush were also killed. addendum 2: See page 379. Correct crew list as follows: Stirling aircraft W7635 (LS- V) failed to return from a mine-laying operation. Six RAF members of the crew, Sgt.s F.G. Crapp, E, Bance, H.C. Adkins, J.J. Blignaut, R.G.
