15 Squadron (Aim Sure). Stirling aircraft EF 504 went down in the sea off the coast of Denmark, presumed enemy action. FS A.E. Sealy and five RAF members of the crew, P/Os C. Clifton, T.E. Ord, Sergeants A. Johnston, W. Newman, and L.G. Rush were also killed. addendum 2: See page 379. Correct crew list as follows: Stirling aircraft W7635 (LS- V) failed to return from a mine-laying operation. Six RAF members of the crew, Sgt.s F.G. Crapp, E, Bance, H.C. Adkins, J.J. Blignaut, R.G. Oliver, and R. Skelton were also killed.
