Stirling I BF403 HA-R shot down by navy flak into the sea off Holland, Flight Lieutenant L.C. Shepherd RNZAF and Sergeant S. Holmes RNZAF killed, Flight Sergeant J.N.C. Hornidge, Sergeant C.M. Taylor RAF, Sergeant A.J.C. Lavers RAF, Sergeant A.F. Copplestone RAF and Sergeant G. Price RAF missing.
