19 Squadron (Possunt Quia Posse Videntur). Flight Lieutenant Haywood was the pilot of Mustang aircraft FB 359 and was engaged in an air test. He was killed when his aircraft struck the ground at high speed near Cairn Robin Farm, Portlethen, Kincardine, Scotland.
