It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 90 Squadron (Celer). Stirling aircraft EF 159 lost during night operations, an attack against Laon, France. Six RAF members of the crew, FS L.E. Amos, Sergeants N.J.J. Dobson, W. Heaher, D.K. Ray, D.B. Sheehan, and A. Walker were also killed.
