92 Squadron (Aut Pugna Aut Morere). WO. Edwards was killed when he made a belly landing in his Spitfire aircraft in the sea 400 yards off the coast, twenty five miles west of Daba. WO. Edwards had been injured on October 12, 1941when he crashed at Horstead Hall in Spitfire P 7971, He was landing when he crashed one mile south of the aerodrome at Coltishall.
