Former Fort Garry Horse.*L.S.* 1918-11-11: Duggan was injured in Avro 504, E-1866; on a test flight when the engine cowling came off in mid-air, was shredded by the propeller and fragments struck the pilot causing a loss of control and a nosedive to the ground.. He died of his injuries the next day. One of the clerks, Ptc WC Lubs (no forebames in the record) (British) came along for the ride and was injured, but recovered.
