22 Squadron (Preux Et Audacieux) Beaufort I aircraft L 4466 crashed on the beach at North Coates, Lincolnshire, England.
During the approach Pilot Officer Berryman decided to make another circuit and started to make a turn without retracting the flaps. The Beaufort stalled a wing and crashed onto the beach just off the aerodrome. Flying Officer JT Berryman (RAF)(Can) was killed.
