139 Jamaica Squadron (Si Placet Necamus). Blenheim aircraft lost. Two of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed. Addendum: WO. Saunders was not killed in action. Blenheim aircraft L 9413 (XD-D) was on a training flight when it crashed and burst into flames east of Norwich, England. Three RAF members of the crew Cpl. G.A. Acton, Sgt.s RR. Gordon, and R.L Halbert were also killed.
