Short Type 74 seaplane No.818 (1914) on the water at Harwich with Flight Lieutenant J.M. Levy in the cockpit. The seaplane was on board the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913) on 6 March, 20 March and 23 March 1916.

The Short Admiralty Type 74 was a single-engined biplane tractor seaplane with non-folding wings, which saw service with the Royal Naval Air Service during the First World War. Since it was intended for use as a coastal patrol seaplane operating from coastal stations, there was no requirement for the Type 74 to have folding wings. Wikipedia
