1916-10-00: Dodds transferred to the RFC from the CEF and was posted to 48 Squadron in 1917. He flew with them until May 1918 (10 Victory Ace) when he returned to Canada as an instructor. Post war, he was a founding member of the Hamilton Aero Club. He ended his post-military career as Director of Civil Aviation for Canada Ministry of Transport.
