It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. No. 83 (Composite) Group, Royal Air Force, 2nd Tactical Air Force: formed on 1 April 1943; by D-Day twenty-nine fighter, ground-attack and reconnaissance squadrons in ten wings; Group Headquarters at Eindhoven from 1 October 1944 to 10 April 1945; absorbed into No. 84 Group on 21 April 1946 (Wikipedia, No. 83 Expeditionary Air Group). Its other headquarters are not on the page.
