It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 1917-05-29: Gordon and his co-pilot Flt. Lt George Hodgson flying a Curtiss H.12 Flying Boat found the crew of a damaged Short Seaplane, who had been adrift for five days in the North Sea. They landed, rescued the two men and then taxied until picked up by a ship and towed to Great Yarmouth Air Station
