Brosnan started his RFC life as an AM3 air mechanic. He transferred to the RFC as a Flt. Cadet. He died on 1918-02-09 when the JN-4 he was flying side-slipped (intentionally) from 400 feet to 350 feet, but then nosedived, at full power, into the ground.
