77 Squadron (Esse Potius Quam Videri). Whitley V aircraft Z 6934 was shot down seventeen miles north-east of Berlin, Germany at Werneuchen, Germany. Three of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed. Two of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
Addendum: - The squadron was based at Leeming when Whitley aircraft Z 6934 was lost during a raid against Berlin. Sgt(s) L.G. Sinclair (RCAF), R.F. Archer (RAF), C.A. Foster (RAF), and PLO. S.
