77 Squadron (Esse Potius Quam Videri). Halifax aircraft LL 138 missing during operations to Orleans Loirt, France. Pilot Officer R.J. Peggs (RAAF), Sergeants R.G. James (RAF), and R.A. Rose (RAF) were also killed. Three of the crew, not Canadians, were taken Prisoners of War. addendum: See page 39. The squadron was based at Full Sutton when aircraft LL 138-N went missing during operations to Orleans Loiret, France. WO. G.T. Haworth (RAF),Sgt.s C.T. Hale (RAF), and J.D.
