Tug Pilot's [Charles Anderson] Personal remarks: "9 Containers released on D.Z. [Drop Zone] Captain [Charles Anderson] baled out in wooded area west of Troarn and hid in long grass until 21:00 hours on 6th June. Met up with British paratroop patrol south of Bavent, thence to their Battalion Headquarters, Division Headquarters, and by car to west of Ouistreham. Crossed channel in infantry landing craft."

It is possible (but not certain) that those pictured above with Anderson are glider pilots mentioned above "British paratroop patrol".
