76 Squadron (Resolute). Halifax aircraft NR 121 did not return from a night trip to Worms, Germany. Flying Officer W.B. Mallen, P/Os H.L. Ball, W.J. Phillips, FS J.J. McNeil, and two of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed.
