Powers was an American citizen who came to Canada to enlist in the RFC1917-11-16: Powers' body was found along the railway right-of-way near Frisco, Texas, leading to Ft. Worth, Texas. It was assumed that he fell from a window, and was en route to a job as air mechanic at Camp Talliaferro, Ft. Worth.
