"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. Holt was a Lieut. in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry before transferring to the RFC in 1913. Air Vice Marshal Felton Vesey Holt, was a squadron and wing commander in the RFC-RAF who became a brigadier general in the newly established Royal Air Force (RAF) just before the end of the First World War. He died in a non-military related flying accident at Westhampnett, Sussex, England on 1931-04-23. Holt managed to get out of the aircraft, but his parachute did not open in time.
