179 Squadron. Wellington aircraft HF 143 lost in the English Channel whilst on a patrol south of Plymouth, England. Five of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Flying Officer Ol1ett's body was found in a dinghy by air-sea rescue about a month later. Addendum: . F/O. Ollett had received some of his training at No. 4 Air Observer School, London, Ontario - Course No. 45.
